Oversized equipment for CHP - 16

A vessel “Oksky – 51” with power units for CHP-16 of Mosenergo arrived at a special dock for heavy loads of South River Port on 11th of September 2012.

Unloading of cargo, weighting up to 40 tons, was efficiently performed by portal cranes within 15 hours.

The other elements, weighing over 40 tons, were transshipped by Liebherr, specialized heavy crane.

As part of the investment program of Mosenergo construction work of Steam-gas power units PGU-420 for CHP-16 was started in 2011. Putting power units into operation make it possible to increase fixed electrical capacity of CHP-16, to reduce gas consumption (and, therefore, to reduce the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere), and also will take the old equipment out.
