Tunnel Boring machine for Moscow metro

In view of construction plans of Moscow metro South river port received and handled the first vessels with heavy elements of the Tunnel Boring machine using for the construction of new tunnels of Moscow metro, arrived from Kazan. All cargo was promptly treated within 3 days.

 South River port is capable of handling cargo weighing up to 400 tons at a specialized, the only one in Moscow berth for handling heavy out-of-gauge cargos.

 In this year new metro lines 8.5 kilometers long is expected to be built on Arbatsko–Pokrovskaya, Kalininskaya and Zamoskvoretskaya lines and new metro stations Novokosino, Alma-Atinskaya and Pyatnitskoye Shosse to be opened.
