Containter shipping on motor vessel Boris Marisov

In October 2010 the first shipping of containers by river transport took place in South River Port.

Motor vessel Boris Marisov loaded by twenty four 40-ft containers departed from the quay of South River Port to St.-Petersburg on Volgo-Baltiysky river way.

As a result an important level of development of the port's container terminal was reached. We hope further work in this area will take place during the navigation 2011.
